About the Role We're seeking a mid to senior-level Accountant who excels where finance meets technology. Key Responsibilities: - Compile and analyze financial information to prepare accurate entries to accounts for client organizations. - Understand all aspects of the accounting cycle for client work: billing, financial statements, general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, budgeting, revenue recognition, and other various special analyses. - Assist in defining, benchmarking, and implementing operational best practices. - Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly financial statements for client organizations. - Support the monthly close process to ensure timely, accurate reporting. - Maintain documented accounting policies, procedures, and systems. - Resolve accounting discrepancies and maintain data integrity. - Utilize various software solutions for billing, invoicing, inventory management, reporting, and forecasting. Your Background: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or 3-5 years equivalent experience. - CLEAR AND PROFESSIONAL ENGLISH COMMUNICATION, BOTH WRITTEN AND SPOKEN. - Experience in Full Accounting Cycle. - Ability to work in Mountain Standard Time in the US. - Experience working with either Netsuite, QBO, Xero, Gusto, or Bill.com. - Advanced Proficiency in Excel to organize and interpret data, including formulas. - In-depth knowledge of the full accounting cycle and GAAP principles. - Reliable work-from-home setup, including a stable high-speed internet connection. - Up-to-date laptop capable of handling modern accounting software and tools. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and projects while maintaining high standards of accuracy. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies efficiently. - Comfort with multiple cloud-based software platforms and accounting tools. - Proven ability to document processes and recommend improvements for operational efficiency. - Adaptable self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and meets tight deadlines. - Collaborative and professional across all levels, with flexibility during peak periods.
