Procurement Specialist Andean Region We are seeking a skilled and experienced procurement specialist to join our team in the Andean region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, contract management, and negotiation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with our business objectives. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings, improving quality, and enhancing supplier relationships. Main Accountabilities: - Develop and execute strategic sourcing activities for assigned spend categories. - Manage and implement procurement projects to support the operations of our plants in the Andean region. - Negotiate vendor contracts to meet business requirements and ensure compliance with legal standards. - Manage supplier performance to meet all quality and delivery requirements. - Analyze and report on preferred vendor utilization, savings project completion, supplier savings validations, inflation, inventory history, utilization/consumption, etc. - Resolve issues with vendors and internal customers utilizing organizational savvy and problem-solving skills. - BUILD trust-based, service-oriented, value-added relationships with suppliers, internal customers, teammates, and cross-functional departments. Requirements To succeed in this role, you will need to possess: - A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related area. - At least 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in capital equipment and construction services. - English written and oral proficiency at an advanced level (C1). - Strong analytical and computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Microsoft Suite, and Ivalua. - Excellent communication and influencing skills. - Strong strategic and analytical skills. - Project management skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
