As a **Pricing & Procurement Analyst,** your role involves managing various aspects of pricing for quotations, RFQs (Request for Quotations), and bids/tenders related to international ocean and air accounts within your assigned tradelane, customer, and/or Sales grouping. **Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to**: - Fielding daily quote requests from customers who are interested in growing or working with the company. These requests may come from Sales, Operations, Customer Success, or directly from customers themselves. - Acting as an extension of the Sales team and Customer Success department to ensure that quote requests are complete and understandable, achieving the best possible rate/service combination. - Analyzing costs from multiple agents to ensure that the quotation provided to the customer is the most competitive, and determining the best service options available for their specific request. - Analyzing, preparing, and completing all bid requests. When appropriate, arrange calls with relevant stakeholders to discuss, consult, and make recommendations for strategy, selling approaches, and margin levels. - Organizing, delegating, and managing quotes assigned in the CargoWise dashboard, ensuring that all inquiries are received, confirmed, and actioned within agreed-upon timelines. - Escalating any losses on bids for large opportunities and notifying the VP of Procurement about upcoming bids for large opportunities, providing recommendations for strategy regarding margin and selling levels. **Requirements**: **What would help you succeed**: - Believe and love what you do. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. - Independent critical thinking. - Organized and detail-oriented. **Minimum requirements**: - **Studies**: High School Degree is **required**. Desirable studies in International Business, Business Administration, or Logistics related. Additional studies are also considered. - **Experience**: A minimum 1 year of experience in logistics whit pricing or carrier sales - **Language**: Advanced English skills.
