About the Role Higher Option is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented coordinator to support full-cycle recruiting, HR administration, Payroll, and employee experience initiatives for a dynamic remote team. You'll work closely with leadership, culture champions, and external platforms to ensure seamless hiring operations and meaningful acknowledgements of staff milestones. Full-Time Position: 40 hours/week Contract Type: CONTRATO DE PRESTACIÓN DE SERVICIOS (The employee is responsible for their own social security and pension payments) Compensation: $1100 - 1300 per month depending on experience, autonomy, and client perception. Key Responsibilities Full‑Cycle Recruitment Support: - Update and maintain accurate job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers. - Place ads on Poached and Breezy for publication on platforms like Indeed; monitor ad effectiveness and iterate. - Conduct phone screenings using a standardized script, focusing on cultural fit and basic qualifications. - Prepare and issue offer letters using templates that include salary, benefits, start-date, etc., and manage HR onboarding workflows including training schedules, paperwork, and team introductions. Employee Touchpoints & Culture Rituals: - Coordinate quarterly health‑check polls and bi‑annual pulse surveys; analyze results and recommend improvements. - Manage 360° annual reviews: schedule, communicate process, and ensure actionable feedback. - Plan internal events: monthly lunches, quarterly birthday and tenure gifts, annual staff/birthday/holiday parties, community service volunteer events, and donation initiatives. HR & Payroll Administration: - Process payroll every two weeks: gratuities, mileage, reimbursements using Nowsta reports and defined policies. - Field HR inquiries and complaints confidentially with clear tracking and follow‑up. - Lead annual updates to the employee handbook, involving team feedback and ensuring policy compliance. Who are you? Experience & Skills - 2 Years minimum in HR, recruiting, or operations roles, preferably supporting US‑based teams. - Proven ability in managing full-cycle recruiting: crafting job descriptions, screening, offer letters, and onboarding. - Strong English skills (written and verbal) are essential to support communication with our US-based clients. (C1) - Strong organizational skills with experience in event planning (onboarding, team events, surveys, reviews). - HR admin familiarity: benefits, payroll workflows (Nowsta or similar), complaint resolution, policy updates. Technical Tools - Breezy, Poached, Indeed ad platforms. - Nowsta (or similar) for payroll and timesheets. - Survey tools (e.g., Google Forms, Typeform) for pulse checks and 360 feedback.
