You will play a key role in building innovative solutions within our collaborative, transforming, and multicultural environment. Position Overview As a Mid-Level Java Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend systems using Java and modern frameworks. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure robust, efficient, and high-performing solutions aligned with CI&T’s commitment to innovation and transformation. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Java and related frameworks. Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical solutions and implement project requirements. Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of applications. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, to collaborate with global teams. Nice-to-have Skills Experience with RESTful API design and implementation. Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). Familiarity with microservices architecture.
