As the SMB Sales Professional you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for our Inside Sales Team. The SMB Sales Professional reporting directly to the Sales Manager, is responsible for executing against sales targets by taking total ownership and accountability of the pipeline, leads and sales targets related to demand generation and growth. This individual will Increase sales volume with existing customers and new prospects within the Region, assist in identifying new market opportunities; execute sales strategies for building long term customer relationships and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will eliminate any barriers or objections to secure order commitments resulting in recurring revenue and call on specific assigned accounts/customers and negotiate pricing and business terms with all customers and prospects. **What you’ll do** - Increase sales with both existing customers and new prospects. - Assist in identifying new market opportunities and initiate sales to those markets. - Contact and present all products and services to select existing and potential customers. - Negotiate and quote pricing. Prepare and maintain sales contracts and agreements in accordance with our policies and procedures. - Achieve and expand monthly/annual revenue goals and submit accurate individual sales forecasts. - Required to meet performance and activity metrics defined. - Work with other departments to resolve problems regarding customer issues. - Build positive long term business relationships with account decision makers through telephone and/or electronic communications. - Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction for all customers. - Participate in company offered self-development studies and training courses. - Other functions that the manager designates related to the position offered. **What you’ll bring** - Enthusiasm for winning deals in a high-volume environment - The skills necessary to operate in a matrixed organization. - Comprehensive understanding of the retail industry, local markets, and potential customer ongoing needs. - Self-starter who can identify and address changing customer requirements. - Understanding and ability to take responsibility for volume, quality, and delivery of end results. - Collaborative approach to enlist the support of the pre-sales teams, implementation resources, service resources, and other management resources as needed. - Motivated with an exceptional ability to work in a diverse collaborative team environment. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders. - Ability to manage pipeline via CRM and/or other related toolsets. - Ability to contribute to the development of a business plan, including sales and marketing strategies. - Strong time-management skills. - Detail oriented with the ability to manage sales projects from initial interest through installation. **Experience** - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and courses or certifications preferred. - 2+ years of sales experience in technology, multi-channel environments, alliances, and/or business development - 2+ years of software/hardware solutions selling within the enterprise and SMB markets. - Track record of delivering results in a fast-paced team setting - Experience operating within a diverse multi-channel environment. - Demonstrated experience working with small and medium businesses in the retail vertical. - Direct or Channel sales related experience. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or related software. - Ability to communicate in English in a professional environment (read, write and have a conversation) - Working knowledge and experience within Retail and Loss Prevention, Inventory/RFID or Traffic Intelligence preferred. - Experience in Salesforce preferred. **Salary**: From $1,350,000 per month **Language**: - English (required)
