IT Team Leader-Transformadores About the Role Location Colombia Cundinamarca Tenjo Remote vs. Office Hybrid (Remote/Office) Company Siemens Energy Organization Grid Technologies Business Unit Products Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Mid-level Professional In Siemens Energy Distribution Transformers, we are looking for our next IT Team Leader who is going to be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the local IT team. A Snapshot of Your Day The Local IT Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the local IT team, ensuring efficient and effective support for all IT-related issues within the organization. This role involves leading a team of IT/OT technicians, coordinating IT/OT projects, and maintaining the local IT/OT infrastructure. The Local IT Team Lead will work closely with other groups to ensure flawless IT/OT service delivery. How You’ll Make an Impact Lead and manage the local IT team; providing guidance, support, and mentorship, and conducting regular performance reviews and providing feedback to team members. Document and supervise IT/OT issues and resolutions using the organization's ticketing system and coordinate and prioritize IT/OT support requests to ensure timely resolution. Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of local and global IT/OT equipment and systems and supervise and manage local and global IT/OT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems. Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT/OT needs and provide appropriate solutions and work with the international IT team to ensure the functioning, maintenance and support of the global DT environment and the local installation on other sites (remotely). Ensure compliance with IT/OT policies, procedures, and best practices. Plan and execute IT/OT projects and initiatives to improve technology systems and processes by staying updated with the latest IT/OT trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 3–4 years of experience in IT/OT as Team Lead. Demonstrable experience in IT/OT support or a similar role, with leadership experience preferred. Solid knowledge of IT/OT systems, hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. Familiarity with ITIL or other IT/OT service management frameworks is a plus. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are advantageous. SAP knowledge would be a plus Proficient in local language and English Competence: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure, effective communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to lead and empower a team.
