**Job Type**: Full-time | 100% Remote **Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Miami Time) **About the Role** Custom Doors is looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented **Technical Support Specialist** to assist our Customer Service team by providing accurate guidance and insight on installation-related topics. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the installation of doors, windows, or similar construction components, who can confidently interpret plans, troubleshoot technical issues, and communicate effectively with non-technical team members and clients. **Key Responsibilities** - Provide technical assistance to the Customer Service team regarding product installations, measurements, tolerances, and site conditions. - Review installation photos, videos, and technical documentation to help evaluate customer claims or complaints. - Translate technical language into easy-to-understand guidance for both internal teams and clients. - Support the preparation of installation guidelines, site checklists, and FAQs. - Participate in virtual meetings with customers to explain proper installation requirements or identify issues. - Collaborate with the Production and Design teams to ensure installation feasibility and improvements. - Track recurring technical issues and suggest improvements to prevent future problems. - Keep documentation updated with technical notes and solutions for common cases. **Who You Are** - Experienced in construction, carpentry, or installations (especially doors, windows, or framing systems). - Strong knowledge of installation best practices and common on-site challenges. - Able to read and interpret basic architectural plans or shop drawings. - Technically sharp, but also capable of explaining things in layman's terms. - Confident speaking on video or phone calls with clients and installers. - Detail-oriented, organized, and responsive. - Comfortable working remotely and managing priorities independently. **Requirements**: - Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support, construction supervision, or installation roles. - Experience in the door/window industry is a strong plus. - Familiarity with basic CAD drawings and CRM platforms. - Fluent in English (spoken and written). - Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office setup. - Available to work Miami business hours. **Why Join Us?** - Be part of a supportive and growing team where your technical input truly matters. - 100% remote position with a stable schedule. - Collaborate with multiple departments to solve real customer challenges. - Help ensure safety, quality, and satisfaction in every installation. **Experience**: - construction/installation/carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
