As a **Pricing & Procurement Analyst,** you will manage all aspects of the pricing for quotations, RFQs and bids/tenders pertaining to international ocean and air accounts related to the tradelane, customer and/or Sales grouping that you are assigned to. **Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to**: - Field daily quote requests from customers and manage cost matrixes from overseas agents and partners in order to build a database of origin costs as well as current market freight costs. - Organize, delegate, and manage quotes assuring all enquiries are received, confirmed, and actioned within agreed timelines. - Analyze costs from multiple agents to assure that quotation back to the customer is the most competitive, and determine the best possible service options to their request. - Analyze, prepare, and complete all bid requests. When appropriate, arrange calls with pertinent stakeholders to discuss, consult upon, and make recommendations for strategy, selling and margin levels. - Obtain and manage regular updated origin costs for Ocean and Air services to be used for quoting or bidding requests. - Determine the ideal target price for services of the company in line with competitors and market expectations. - Organize, analyze and compile profiles for top agents with origin tariffs; and when available, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly ocean and air rates. - Regularly review outstanding quotes for updates and/or revision possibilities in order to secure shipment/business/new accounts. - Review quote metrics to look for areas of improvement if win ratios are not consistent; and highlight and review customers with high quote activity but low bookings. - Escalate to VP of Procurement any losses on bids for large opportunities, and also all upcoming bids for large opportunities, making recommendations for strategy on margin and selling levels. - Work along with other areas of the company to make sure that quote requests are complete and understandable in order to achieve the best possible rate/service combination, and to secure business. **Requirements**: **What would help you succeed**: - Believe and love what you do. - Ability to build and grow connections (relationship management skills). - Independent critical thinking. - Creative problem-solving skills. - Organized and detail-oriented. - Multitasking and proactive. - Reliable and responsible. **Minimum requirements**: - ** Studies**: High School Degree is **required**. Having a Bachelor's degree is** not required but is a plus**, desirable studies in International Business, Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Industrial Engineering, Finances, Logistics or any other career related. - **Experience**: Minimum of **2-3 years of international logistics/3PL **work experience. Experience in pricing, quoting and handling bids preferred. - **Language**: Advanced English skills.
