What you will be doing: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior QA Lead Engineer to play a pivotal role in guiding and integrating quality assurance processes within our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). As the QA lead, you will be instrumental in upholding the highest standards of quality in our software products. - Leadership and Management: Take the lead in managing all QA activities and ensure their seamless integration within the SDLC. - Automation and Reporting: Develop and implement scripting/automation of test cases and create detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports outlining QA progress and outcomes. - Tools and Methodologies: Utilize various tools and methodologies, including New Relic for performance and security monitoring, Jenkins for continuous integration, and AWS for cloud services. Oversee the use of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools, cloud services, and Git for version control. - Quality Oversight: Conduct thorough bug reporting and tracking, perform risk assessments, and prioritize tasks based on severity to maintain optimal quality standards. - System Analysis and Test Case Design: Analyze complex systems to identify and resolve issues. Plan and design comprehensive test cases and methodologies. - Testing Tools and Frameworks: Employ various testing tools and frameworks for both manual and automated testing. - Collaboration and Technical Contribution: Effectively collaborate with development teams, stakeholders, and clients, understanding technical project aspects and contributing to automation scripts when necessary. - Mentorship and Project Management: Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining stringent quality standards. Requirements & Qualifications To excel in this role, you should possess: - 4+ years of experience in QA-related activities, with at least 1 year in leadership roles or managing teams. - Proficiency in scripting/automation of test cases and a B2 level of English or higher. - Experience in integrating QA processes within SDLC and creating/presenting detailed reports. - Strong familiarity with CI/CD tools, cloud services, New Relic, Jenkins, AWS, and Git for performance and security monitoring. - Proficiency in bug reporting, risk assessment, and prioritizing tasks based on severity. - Advanced analytical skills, adept at understanding complex systems and identifying issues. - Familiarity with various testing tools and frameworks for manual and automated testing. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. - Working knowledge of programming languages for test automation and scripting. - Experience in performance testing, security testing, and team mentorship.
