Use results of industry and competitive analysis Your Role and Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement a comprehensive migration plan, including timeline, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. 2. Lead regular status meetings with internal and external stakeholders to provide progress updates, identify issues, and resolve roadblocks. 3. Serve as the central point of contact for all project related communications, coordinating between cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and senior executives. 4. Monitor and control project scope, schedule, and budget, adjusting as needed to meet changing objectives or unforeseen circumstances. 5. Identify and mitigate risks associated with the migration process, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. 6. Facilitate knowledge transfer and training sessions for relevant staff members to ensure continuity of operations post-migration. 7. Ensure smooth transition to the new environment, resolving any post-implementation issues and monitoring system performance to optimize functionality. 8. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to evaluate potential improvements and optimizations. Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Required Technical and Professional Expertise: 1. Proven experience managing large-scale projects, preferably in a corporate setting. 2. Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, ideally including AWS, Azure, or GCP. 3. Expertise in virtualization technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, and Horizon. 4. Excellent project management skills, including planning, organizing, and controlling resources, schedules, budgets, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. 5. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, procurement, and senior management. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience: 1. Certifications for project/program management: Project or program certifications including but not limited to PMP, CMMI, Scrum Master or Agile Project Management. 2. Technology Expertise: Experience working with a broad spectrum of technology solutions including Data and AI, Automation, Sustainability, Security, Cloud, Power, Storage and zSoftware or equivalent technologies.
