We are looking for a contract SEM (Search Engine Marketing) Manager to scale our consumer facing business, by driving high quality traffic (travelers) to our marketplace to drive booking conversion. In this role, you will focus on creating SEM campaigns, then optimizing them for performance. Once these campaigns are fairly stable, the role will expand into supporting our B2B SEM as well. **What is RoverPass?** RoverPass is a startup focusing on the campground and RV park industry. We provide campgrounds and RV parks with a property management system and marketing services to help drive them more business. We are a small team and require a hands-on and hungry approach. **Responsibilities**: - This job is about creating and effectively managing a RoverPass SEM campaign using Google, Bing, and any additional related channels to grow bookings on the RoverPass marketplace and expand the reach of Roverpass’ brand. - Build individual campaigns for each property. You will determine the best keywords, set the bids, and ensure we have the proper tracking for analysis and reporting in place. - You own the budget and are responsible for monitoring campaign performance, and adjusting bids to improve ROI. - Create reports and regularly check in with other departments to optimize campaigns based on seasonality and other property specific metrics - Perform ongoing research about keyword performance and opportunities. - Hone in on keyword selection and audience targeting. - Suggest and implement new strategies for lead conversion. **Your Skills**: - You have experience creating high converting digital ad campaigns through a variety of paid marketing tactics. In the first three months of this role, success means you establish a well-defined SEM process, drive incremental bookings through cost efficient campaigns, and hit goals for new revenue generated. - You know how to lead both strategy and execution for the campaigns you create. - You are excited by the prospect of developing new paid media strategies, managing big media spends, and challenging yourself to be more efficient. - You have the technical skill set, and the persistence needed to improve current growth channels. - You are not intimidated by a fast-paced, high accountability environment. - You are process-oriented. - You enjoy running experiments and know when to cut your losses. **Qualifications**: - Proven track record with successfully growing a company's PPC channels and wants to take their experience to the next level. - Data-driven; must be comfortable delivering regular reporting - Growth mentality; always looking to learn and improve more - Google Ads certified, experience with Microsoft/Bing advertising a plus - Proven experience with SEM, SEO, and PPC campaigns - A/B testing
