Position Overview: Were looking for a highly detail-oriented Insurance Compliance Coordinator to support lease compliance by managing tenant insurance documentation and vendor follow-ups. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of insurance or contracts and a keen eye for legal details. You'll collaborate with both tenants and third-party vendors (like MyCOI) to confirm compliance, approve overrides, and ensure accuracy across the portfolio. Key Responsibilities: - Review and verify tenant insurance documentation for compliance with lease terms. - Collaborate with MyCOI to follow up with non-compliant tenants and approve exceptions when necessary. - Communicate clearly with tenants via email and phone regarding insurance status. - Maintain records of communication, compliance updates, and override approvals. - Help drive the potential transition of insurance compliance in-house by improving current processes. Qualifications: - Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken. - Background in insurance, property management, or paralegal work. - Experience working with contracts, compliance, legal documents, or insurance-related content. - High attention to detail, and ability to interpret legal/insurance terminology. - Proficient with Microsoft Office 365; comfortable using tools like OpenPhone. Nice-to-Haves: - Familiarity with concepts such as general liability, waiver of subrogation, additional insured, umbrella vs. excess coverage. - Prior experience interacting with tenants, clients, or vendors in a compliance role.
