The Office of OneIT provides highly reliable information technology infrastructure, tools and services to empower the University to achieve its academic, research, administrative and service goals. Primary Purpose of Position This position provides both technical and functional development across all technologies associated with the University’s Salesforce and Marketing Cloud platforms. This position engages with business stakeholders to gather/analyze requirements and maps them to solutions that leverage Salesforce and Marketing Cloud’s software functionality; and to demonstrate Salesforce and Marketing Cloud development capabilities to solve business problems and produce supporting documentation. Summary of Position Responsibilities Provides operational support, including administration of Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud systems, to ensure they are running and maintained in keeping with institutional standards and best practices. Supports ongoing requests for enhancement and optimization, aligns and prioritizes development tasks with the needs of stakeholders. Acts as a point of business process and technical expertise related to Marketing Cloud email and CRM. Provide guidance to the business regarding email and CRM solution design and implementation. Acts as a point of technical expertise related to Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM systems capabilities and related technology. Supports ongoing development within an agile, iterative development methodology and contributes to all phases of the software development lifecycle. Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience, which must include a minimum of 1+ years of experience developing applications for the Salesforce and Marketing Cloud platform, or the equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of 1+ years of experience developing applications for the Salesforce and Marketing Cloud platform. Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong focus on Marketing Cloud. Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Developer, are highly desirable. Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs. Experience with Marketing Cloud tools, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio. Strong understanding of CRM concepts and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
