Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Expert to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia. As an Energy Expert, you will work closely with industry leaders and experts to provide strategic insights and expertise while working on cases and proposals. - Provide analysis to drive insight into specific client issues - Manage and process industry focus analysis requests, and assist consultants with industry-specific problems - Interact with local teams and use extensive resources to gather, filter, synthesize, package and deliver insights to the Energy Practice Area - Work on content pieces with special focus on Latin American SSA market expertise, including industry trends, local and regional competitive landscape, benchmarks, mapping key industry players, amongst others - Gather and organize all content developed in the Energy Practice Area in SSA and identify content to be sanitized and published for the wider ecosystem Key Responsibilities - Identify and address critical topical knowledge & expertise for cases & solve client problems, with guidance from senior team members, Partners/MDPs & case teams - Participate in client calls and workshops and eventually co-lead modules leveraging own knowledge, proprietary data assets and deploying specific methodologies - Provide customized knowledge for client work, prepare accurate, well-developed documents and charts - Create reports on new trends highlighting overall impact on SSA Energy sector including energy transition, decarbonization, emergent technologies (renewables, storage, hydrogen) and its strategic impact, understanding of Oil & Gas and electricity value chains (exploration-production, generation– transmission-distribution) along with deep knowledge - Identify key performance indicators for players in the energy ecosystem and analyze data to generate insights - Identify key topics and opportunities as well as past experience to generate products which can be used in Business Development activities - Support client proposals by compiling data and relevant information, providing research, topic input to the proposal team The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
