The Associate Director of Product Management is responsible for overseeing and managing the product development function and processes for a specific solution or set of solutions. The Associate Director of Product Management will identify customer needs and business objectives, articulate the vision and success criteria, and rally team members to turn that vision into reality. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering Certified in PMP, ITIL V3, CPIM, or MSCE (nice to have, not must) Ability to apply platform support and troubleshooting methodologies Prior experience in product management or business analysis roles Experience with continuous integration and automated deployment practices Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet timelines on deliverables Responsibilities Gather input from a variety of internal stakeholders and external resources Play the role of product owner in an agile development process, working daily with user experience designers, visual designers, and software engineers to make strategic and tactical decisions about product functionality, balancing appropriate tradeoffs between business goals, user goals, scalability/maintainability, time-to-market, and process efficiency Work with platform vendors and development vendors to provide technical management on the delivery of platform and services Propose and manage demand for application work Define and manage project and enhancement pool budgets Provide VIP support in conjunction Capture business and functional requirements and write precise specifications to communicate them to the development teams Manage projects through all phases Serve as primary contact to the business for systems Manage product strategy and feature/capability set for business solutions #J-18808-Ljbffr
