We work with people around the globe to advise, build, run, and support the creation of products with purpos **About the Role**: **Responsibilities**: **Key Responsibilities** - Administer Windows Server and Linux environments - Configure and monitor clustered databases - Manage distributed replication and Always On Availability Groups - Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) - Handle backup platforms (e.g., Veeam), on-premise storage (HPE, EMC), and networking (Layer 2/3, bonding) - Manage firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco) and network switches - Ensure infrastructure performance, availability, and security - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical incidents - Operate in Data Center environments (infrastructure, power, cabling) **Qualifications**: **Must-Have Requirements** - Conversational English (B2 level or higher) - Degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, or a related field - 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator - Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server (2008-2016) and Linux (RedHat, Oracle, etc.) - Proficiency with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) - Solid understanding of networking (Layer 2/3, bonding) - Experience managing firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco) and network switches - Experience with on-premise storage platforms (HPE, EMC, etc.) - Proficiency with backup platforms (e.g., Veeam) - Familiarity with Data Center infrastructure and operations **Nice to Have** - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud - Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios) - Knowledge of OS hardening best practices - Experience with load balancers (KEMP, Fortinet) - Some experience with basic database administration (e.g., troubleshooting, managing connections) - Exposure to programming languages such as JavaScript, Python or similar. **Job Conditions** - Work model**:Hybrid** (Bogotá)
