We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized accounting professional to join our team in the insurance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations. They will also maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with industry regulations, support monthly and quarterly closings, and coordinate with underwriters, agents, and external partners on billing and payment matters. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. - Support the closing process, including premium and commission reconciliations. - Coordinate with stakeholders on billing and payment matters. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Prior experience in an accounting or administrative role (insurance industry experience is a plus). - Familiarity with accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel). - Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
