Job Summary: This role involves delivering security services to operational sites across the end-to-end supply chain to protect assets and prevent loss. - Contribute to emergency planning for sites within your area of responsibility. - Identify vulnerabilities and define mitigating actions while ensuring compliance with legal standards. - Coordinate risk management with local stakeholders on all security-related matters. - Ensure operational sites comply with global security protocols. - Own Security and Loss Prevention projects at the local and regional levels. A Day in the Life: As a Security Specialist, you will join a team providing security services to business customers across multiple units within a dedicated geographical area. You will perform regular physical security assessments and investigations, collecting information by monitoring systems and analyzing data reports. Your findings will contribute to identifying vulnerabilities in our processes, and you will drive remediation measures. Key to maintaining site integrity, you will audit and monitor system health status and maintain functionality jointly with subject matter experts and suppliers. Additionally, you will identify and implement initiatives improving physical security infrastructure. Working closely with external security providers, you will ensure delivery of high-quality security services and a smooth customer experience. Finally, you will develop security awareness programs for other teams across all management levels and manage the implementation of our Security plan. About the Team: The Global Security organisation supports Amazon's business objectives and brand protection by effectively managing security risks and promoting security throughout the organisation. By working in partnership with stakeholders, we secure the Amazon supply chain end-to-end and promote security during business operations. Our mission is to prevent security-related risks and vulnerabilities, intervene in unfolding incidents to minimise impact, and thoroughly investigate security incidents to identify root causes. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Relevant degree or equivalent qualification. - Relevant security- or risk-related experience (e.g., security services, asset protection, loss prevention, risk management, inventory management, investigations). - Upper intermediate proficiency in written and verbal English and Spanish. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Advanced degree, industry certification, or relevant advanced qualification. - Relevant experience with physical security systems, investigation techniques, and/or contract security officers. - Relevant experience in retail, warehouse, distribution centre services, delivery service, or supply chain management. - Relevant experience in working with data. - Valid driver's license.
