Job Title: Data Expert As a data expert, you will play a key role in helping the world's manufacturers be more productive, sustainable, and agile. Position Overview Use advanced data analysis techniques to identify relevant data from internal and external sources. Develop software systems and algorithms to explain or predict customer behavior and solve business problems. Assist analysts in finding patterns in data, build predictive models, and validate these models through real-world testing. You will report to a senior leader responsible for innovation and design. Responsibilities - Design, code, and test new data management solutions, including supporting applications and interfaces. - Support cross-functional development activities across multiple projects related to analytics and technology. - Collaborate with engineers and architects to plan and update system architecture. - Mentor and lead engineers through the development lifecycle. - Manage and improve the deployment pipeline. - Write high-quality, compliant code. - Work with business analysts and product owners to define requirements. - Support backlog management. - Lead a team of analysts and engineers for new feature development. - Create testing and data validation frameworks and code. - Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes. Requirements: - Advanced data engineering skills, preferably with Databricks (Python, PySpark, Spark SQL). - CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps pipeline. - Proficiency in Azure Data Factory for orchestration. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
