This is a 12-month, full-time, non-tenure track appointment. About the Department/Program The MU-SSW aims to promote leadership in social and economic justice by preparing students for excellence in practice, research, and policy. The school offers BSW, MSW, and PhD degrees, with dual and joint programs, and has approximately 450 students. We value diversity and are committed to social justice. Position Overview The role involves teaching and supervising students, and collaborating with faculty and program directors to develop and review curriculum in line with accreditation standards. Qualifications MSW degree and at least 5 years of post-MSW practice experience Preferred: PhD or additional training in related fields Experience in course development, student recruitment, and success initiatives Commitment to social work education Ability to teach in-person and online practice and clinical courses Strong communication skills Proficiency with MS Office, online databases, and learning platforms like Canvas Experience advising students Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills Knowledge of social welfare policy and services is a plus Salary Range Estimated $78,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience and rank.
