Job Purpose and Impact The Supply Chain Design and Optimization (SCDO) COE team is a growing global central team that is well-versed in the design and optimization of business networks to the large and diverse Cargill businesses. The Supply Chain Design COE Modeling Manager will focus on business projects to support short to long-term supply chain strategies and business goals across America’s region. We seek a professional to lead and deliver optimization projects for businesses to find synergies opportunities, reduce costs and drive growth, while coordinate cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain network initiatives. Key Accountabilities Operate as the key contact point to help build models for network design and optimization work. Responsibilities include project planning, lead design workshops, scoping & scenarios definitions, manage large data sets, model development in Supply Chain Guru®, project management and long-term support of the optimization tool. Develop and deploy strategic and tactical supply chain optimization models, based on strong understanding of internal and external customer needs, with high-quality deliverables to support and drive decisions making for various Cargill businesses operations across the globe. Data management and utilization of information in appropriate areas, which includes data gathering, extracting, cleansing, structuring, and providing analytics and insights. Project tracking, documentation, communication to stakeholders in all levels of the organization, SCDO training and coaching to business and other COE team members Monitor processes and ensure best practices are shared among locations. Independently handle complex issues with mínimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. Execute and implement complex projects and process improvements to drive continuous improvement across the organization. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field or equivalent experience Advanced English Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of experience in supply chain management with 3+ years of experience in Network Design & Optimization. Demonstrated experience in developing complex models with optimization software (LLamasoft Supply chain Guru® - preferred, JDA Strategist®, LogicNet+®, CPLEX®, Gurobi®, AIMMS®, among others). Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau® or Power BI® and data tools such as Access, SQL, Alteryx® or Data Guru®. Advanced Spanish “At Cargill, everyone matters and everyone counts.
