Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Regional Lead, Market Access & Public Affairs (WESTERN CANADA) Requisition ID: 6288 Location: Alberta or British Columbia, CA Regional Lead, Market Access & Public Affairs (WESTERN CANADA) We are currently looking for an experienced Market Access & Public Affairs professional for the Western Canada regions to join the Lundbeck Market Access & Public Affairs team. This position is a field-based, permanent, full-time role. The ideal candidate will be based in Alberta or British Columbia. Your Position: Working collaboratively with the Market Access team and cross-functional teams, the Regional Lead, Market Access & Public Affairs, assists with developing and implementing strategic plans to shape, influence, and attain reimbursement for Lundbeck’s products. The role involves forging collaborative relationships with key stakeholders such as public and private payers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and patient advocacy groups. Market Access (Public & Private payers): (70%) Implement plans to secure broad and optimal reimbursement for Lundbeck products with targeted accounts. Establish and maintain contacts with provincial drug plans and private payers to improve reimbursement, identify opportunities, resolve issues, and expand Lundbeck’s network. Develop innovative strategies to overcome reimbursement challenges, utilizing negotiation and influence skills to achieve favorable conditions. Government Relations and Stakeholders Management: (30%) Identify and engage with ecosystem partners, including provincial and private market access stakeholders, patient advocacy groups, and medical societies. Implement initiatives supporting a favorable environment for access, pricing, and reimbursement. Represent Lundbeck on industry committees. Collaborate with scientific and patient associations to understand unmet needs and gain support for relevant initiatives. Participate in industry events to stay informed about reimbursement trends and share knowledge with colleagues. Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher with excellent English communication skills. 8+ years of experience in the Canadian pharmaceutical industry, including at least 5 years in a Market Access or stakeholder engagement role. Strong knowledge of Canadian pharmaceutical reimbursement policies and trends. Proven success in obtaining reimbursement from public and private payers. Experience in Neurology and/or Rare Diseases is an asset. Working Conditions: Field-based role. Occasional evening/weekend commitments. Moderate travel required (30-40%).
