About the role As a Standard Data Engineer, you will be involved in designing the architecture of new data systems and responsible for building scalable, robust, and high-quality infrastructure to support our global cloud-native data platform. Our tech stack includes Snowflake, Airflow, Kubernetes, Kafka, GitLab/Bitbucket, AWS, Python. What you need to succeed A minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience working with Python. Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture. At least 2 years of experience working with AWS services such as EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift, or other cloud technologies. A minimum of 2 years of experience with relational SQL or NoSQL databases. At least 2 years of proven experience in business logic processes, data warehouse modeling, and insight delivery. Mid-to-advanced proficiency in English. Familiarity with deploying production-quality code and working with CI/CD tools. Knowledge of big data tools and streaming technologies such as Airflow, Kafka, or similar. Ability to set up and manage ETL tools and pipelines to support project requirements. Understanding of data modeling techniques. Strong knowledge of data warehousing. What you will do Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor in-house services and tools to support our global data infrastructure. Collaborate closely with engineering teams, data scientists, and product managers to develop data-driven features. Expand and optimize our data tech stack by evaluating and implementing new technologies to support product requirements. Maintain and oversee the decommissioning of legacy systems.
