We are seeking a Tech Lead Platform Engineer specialized in Python and React to join our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) team. You will play a critical role in building and refining our IDP capabilities, leveraging your extensive experience in back-end development, cloud engineering, and stakeholder collaboration to drive success across our organization. Location 100% remote for candidates based in Spain. Main tasks and responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain our internal developer platform, utilizing cloud services (primarily Azure and AWS) to deliver scalable and resilient solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and execute a refined product backlog aligned with business goals. Use your expertise in Python and React to create robust back-end and UI solutions, focusing on performance and user experience. Leverage tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD, etc., for cloud infrastructure and continuous delivery improvements. Drive continuous improvement in system reliability, observability, and automation within a distributed environment. Engage with stakeholders to analyze needs and deliver solutions that meet or exceed service-level expectations. Required knowledge, experience, and qualifications Mastery in back-end development with Python. Proven experience in UI/UX development using React, ideally with Material UI frameworks. In-depth knowledge of Internal Developer Platform architecture, with experience in platforms like Backstage. Practical experience in cloud architecture focusing on AWS and Azure. Proficiency in cloud infrastructure technologies such as Terraform, ArgoCD, etc. Familiarity with continuous delivery tools like ADO Pipelines and GitHub Actions. Strong understanding of distributed systems with proven performance, scalability, and resiliency expertise. Experience working closely with stakeholders for requirements analysis and product backlog definition. Agile delivery experience, including knowledge of testing approaches like TDD. Preferred qualifications Previous experience in cloud-native platform solutions. Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and agile methodologies. Exposure to self-healing infrastructure and automation techniques. Keen interest in developer experience optimization within an organizational context. Work schedule 8:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.
