Adelphi is seeking a licensed Dentist to provide on-site clinical services at a central dental clinic serving youth from multiple secure residential facilities in Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate will work primarily with male youth between the ages of twelve (12) to twenty-one (21) to provide direct patient care including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and treatment planning. Provide on-site dental care - evaluation, diagnosis, treatment & planning—for youth at a central clinic serving multiple secure facilities. 2. Perform dental examinations and diagnoses using X-rays, including Panorex, Bitewing, and Peri-apical films. 3. Place composite fillings with precision and care. 4. Administer local anesthesia for various dental procedures. 5. Apply dental sealants as preventive care. 6. Provide dental cleanings, exams, and fluoride treatments. 7. Conduct calculus debridement when clinically indicated. 8. Prepare and place crowns (PFM or gold) in coordination with a dental lab. 9. Perform simple extractions or refer as needed based on complexity. 10. Provide comprehensive dental care to a minimum of 5 patients per day. 11. Review and approve external provider treatment orders as needed. 12. Refer out third molar extractions, root canals, and orthodontic cases as per agency protocol. 13.
