Quality Assurance Specialist We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to contribute to the development of our subscription management platform. - Define and document testing strategies for new features. - Execute functional, regression, and integration tests for payment processing features. - Validate payment gateway integrations by testing API requests, responses, and error handling scenarios. - Maintain scripts, test sequences, and implement manual procedures to ensure proper test coverage. - Work closely with Engineering, Product, and other organizations to promote software quality standards. - Collaborate with Customer Support and Customer Success Managers to replicate escalated customer issues and product field use cases. - Participate in test team activities including requirements analysis, test planning, tracking, reporting, and support of test cycles. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience testing multi-tier, consumer-facing web applications and strong familiarity with payments processing domain. Requirements - Strong knowledge of payments processing and expertise in payments, worldwide payment methods, integrations with payment gateways, gateway tokenization, network tokenization, and card on file concepts. - Experience testing with automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium and examining data with SQL, web services, agile software development environment. - REST API testing experience. - Knowledge of best practices for the Software Development Life Cycle. - Working knowledge of JIRA or other issue and project tracking software. - Experience with Git or other distributed revision control and source code management systems. - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and a diverse technical team. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to significant amounts of change in work assignments and priorities. Preferred Qualifications - Experience designing and maintaining automated tests for white box and black box testing. - Experience with unit testing frameworks: RSpec, Minitest/Test::Unit, or similar.
