The Employee Relations Team is a team of proactive, trusted partners who serve to support our HR teams, business leaders, and employees by investigating the HR cases and providing oversight and direction regarding employee relations matters. The Employee Relations Business Partner will also be responsible for relevant training design and delivery, leading projects, and policy creation/review.Key objectives for this team include ensuring legal compliance and adherence to SLB policies is met in a consistent, objective and fair fashion.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough and consistent investigations of highly complex HR-related allegations with strict adherence to local laws. This includes conducting reporter, witness, and implicated party interviews using effective techniques for gathering information, and asking questions in ways that improve clarity, information flow, and reliability of information.Deliver clear, concise, and factual investigative summaries in writing.Lead sophisticated decision reviews with senior HR, business leadership, and/or legal partners.Design and deliver engaging and thoughtful training sessions and communications.Critical thinking to review and credibly challenge investigation findings.Collect and analyze data to identify trends, diagnose root causes and make strategic recommendations on mitigation strategies.Act as a change agent to identify and provide solutions for enhancements and efficiencies in the investigative process.Monitor the progress of assigned investigations and regularly audit investigations for quality and consistency.Own and participate in ER projects as assigned.Lead calibration dialog to ensure consistency of practices.Participate in depositions, court trials, arbitration hearings, and government agency hearings as required.5+ years of investigative experience, either in an Employee Relations/Employment Law specific role, or an employee facing HR role.Knowledge of employment policies, practices and employment law and regulations.Demonstrated management and leadership skills: feedback, coaching and guidance of others.Ability to build solid relationships at all levels and influence collaborative outcomes.Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate with all senior levels of management and across all functional areas.Consistent demonstration of ownership and accountability (driven to “do the right thing”).High-quality judgment and sound decision-making.Strong project and time management skills with ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and investigations to closure, often across multiple time zones.Discreetly handle sensitive and/or private information.Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, mostly domesticallyFluent in Brazilian Portuguese, Proficient in English #J-18808-Ljbffr
