The Business Development Manager – Latam subregion North, can be based in Bogotá, Colombia or Mexico City, with willingness and availability to travel 30-40% of the time, mostly within the assigned region. In this role, you will work closely with Channel Partners, System Integrators, end users, and internal stakeholders to position OTT HydroMet to win in hydrology, meteorology, and solar opportunities in the growing natural environmental business (groundwater, surface water, floods/heavy rain, water quality, road weather, solar energy projects, among others). You will be part of a collaborative sales team and enjoy the additional support that our team selling strategy offers. In your daily work, you will take part in creative discussions around continuous improvement where your input will be expected and highly valued. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Achieve Sales and Growth Targets: Meet revenue goals and KPIs through effective forecasting, funnel management, and share-of-wallet expansion in key accounts. Drive Business Development: Build and maintain strong customer and channel relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities to ensure a sustainable sales pipeline. Account Strategy & Customer Engagement: Regularly assess and grow channel partners and target accounts; conduct meetings with key decision-makers to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Project and Opportunity Management: Plan and manage next steps to close sales opportunities and projects efficiently, aligning with customer needs and timelines. Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the main point of contact for customers and work with internal teams (Legal, Finance, R&D, Service, etc.) to support contract execution, product customization, and customer satisfaction. Market & Competitor Insight: Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive advantage. Sales Activities & Representation: Participate in site visits, product demos, trade shows, and seminars to promote the brand and support sales execution. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor's degree required; Engineering degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience, preferably with government clients. At least 3 years managing Channel Partners and Key Accounts in Hydrology or Meteorology applications. Fluent in written and spoken English. Willingness and ability to travel within the LATAM region as needed. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Formal sales training with strong preference given to exposure to value selling. Selling full solutions (hardware, software, services).
