About this role: We are seeking an experienced partnerships and localization specialist to join our team in Colombia. As the Partnerships Coordinator - Programmes, you will be responsible for developing new partnership relationships, programs, and capacity development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of professional experience in a relevant field, preferably in an NGO or humanitarian actor. You will have a strong knowledge of donor compliance rules and regulations, as well as excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in Spanish and English. Responsibilities: - Partnership Development - Conduct and update partner mapping to identify potential partners and assess their capacities. - Lead the partnership selection and due diligence process, including preliminary meetings with partners and assessing their alignment with our programming goals. - Provide support to partners on required partnership documentation, such as MoUs, agreements, budgets, and supporting documents. - Capacity Assessment and Management - Coordinate capacity assessments with Coordination Units and Area Offices to identify specific capacity building and organizational development needs. - Review existing partnership resources and identify additional needs to support capacity assessment, monitoring, compliance, project cycle management, etc. - Develop comprehensive capacity assessment tools related to project and program design and management. - Grants Management - Work with the Grants Manager and PDQM to ensure that partnership tools and financial standards meet donor requirements. - Maintain a comprehensive partner report tracker and communicate with partners around reporting deadlines. - Provide a review of partner reports, offering supportive guidance and feedback to partner organizations as part of capacity-strengthening plans. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in international development, humanitarian assistance, political science, or other related fields. - At least three years of experience working in NGOs or humanitarian actors, with a focus on partnerships, capacity development, and grants management. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. - Fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to produce high-quality written products for formal reporting and public communication purposes.
