Responsibilities / Tasks As a Service Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our department, serving as the key link between our customers and our engineering teams to ensure mutual success. Your main responsibility will be to identify and sell opportunities for improvements in the industrial processes of our clients, specifically in the dairy, beverage, and home & personal care (HPC) markets. You will be part of a dynamic team that drives growth and customer satisfaction through engineering solutions tailored to the specific needs of each client and the markets where GEA operates. Main responsibilities: - Prospecting and generating qualified leads and opportunities in the assigned markets. - Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients. - Presenting and selling projects tailored to the specific needs of each customer. - Coordinating the preparation and presentation of technical and commercial proposals. - Negotiating contract terms and conditions, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. - Collaborating closely with the technical and commercial teams to ensure successful project execution. - Conducting post-sales follow-up and maintaining ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify additional growth opportunities. Your Profile / Qualifications - University degree in one of the engineering and/or processes fields (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, etc.). - Minimum of 3-5 years as service project sales engineer. - Minimum English level: B2 - Strong technical knowledge in industries as dairy, beverage, liquid food, home and personal care. - Service Experience, customer management, empathy and sense of urgency. - Proven understanding in the after sales businesses, customer relationship management and market development. - Familiarity with GEA service offerings and local market requirements of different customer groups (Valuable). - Excellent communicator, written and verbal, able to work with individuals (internal and external) across a wide range of levels, functions, brands and cultures. - Prioritizes customer needs, establishes effective relationships with customers as well as internal stakeholders. - American Visa (desirable) Did we spark your interest?
