We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Media Payables Coordinator Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Media Payables Coordinator to join our LATAM (Colombia-based) team. This junior-level role is ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in finance and accounting. You will play an important part in ensuring timely and accurate processing of media vendor invoices, supporting reconciliations, and helping to streamline operations within our media finance function. Responsibilities
Monitor and manage invoices queue, and enter invoices into our digital business payment software, as well as upload them into custom reports. Maintain the vendor database updated and keep info properly stored in the team drive. Traffic new orders to the dedicated Media Payables Coordinator and validate vendor info is correct and updated in all the platforms. Approve vendor payments and ensure that the payables are maintained in an effective, up to date, and accurate manner. Review and verify invoices as compared to advertising contracts (specifically, TV, Radio, Newspaper and Event advertising). Help manage daily payments to vendors (check, credit card, ACH) Correspond with vendors; respond to inquiries; resolve invoice discrepancies; request missing invoices. Reconcile vendor payments and vendor invoices. Place custom and scheduled orders for retailers (charging the retailer). Process credits and refunds of retailer orders, as requested. Maintain the vendor database updated as well as vendor info in team drive. Assist with the preparation and disbursement of 1099s. Provide support to MBC and AM functions, as needed. Assist with intercompany reconciliation inquiries, as needed. Various ad hoc analysis and reporting. Become fully educated and continue education upkeep with SproutNet features and functionality.

Fluent in English (spoken and written) – daily interaction with U.S.-based teams Strong Microsoft Excel skills – including use of formulas and data sorting/filtering Exceptional organizational skills – able to manage multiple tasks at once Detail-oriented with a forensic mindset – careful and thorough in work Quick learner – enthusiastic about learning new systems, processes, and tools Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment – adaptable and flexible Strong interpersonal and communication skills – team-oriented and clear communicator
