The client’s product is a robust and cohesive billing solution that allows merchants to offer their customers a variety of convenient and seamless payment options. 🟩 What’s in it for you: Get a vast amount of new knowledge and practical expertise in the field of mobile backend testing Gain specific knowledge in the PoS domain and be a valuable contributor to an enterprise-level solution Have an opportunity to set up a number of QA processes from scratch, showcasing your leadership and problem-solving abilities ✅ Is that you? 5+ years’ commercial experience in automation testing and software quality control & assurance; good knowledge of QA processes Experience in at least one programming language, such as C# or Java Hands-on experience with testing backend software code Experience in automated API and performance testing (creating and manipulating large data sets) Solid knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies Profound understanding of Microservices architecture and system integration principles Good understanding of mobile SDLC, with a focus on its backend portion Upper-Intermediate English level Desirable: Experience collaborating with remote teams Degree in Computer Science or a related field Experience with at least one cloud service provider 🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up a testing framework from scratch, automating unit tests in all repositories, and migrating various repositories from the on-premise instance to another company’s instance. Collaborate with US-based product and engineering Scrum teams directly Work together with the team on defining, estimating, and delivering scope on time Set up code coverage reports Ensure unit tests are covering happy paths and failure paths Set up ‘sanity’ projects (pull in the latest release, build, and verify high-level functionality) Build out a full suite of test cases added to the project of choice Perform manual testing of mobile applications through example apps Explore additional ways to automate or extend coverage 🎾 What’s working at Dev.Pro like?
