Role Overview The Director of Finance for Pricing will be responsible for producing financial reports and developing strategies, guiding leadership in making sound business decisions in the short and long term, and other ad hoc responsibilities. This person’s focus will be on pricing, profitability, customer acquisition costs, and reporting. Duties & Responsibilities Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with revenue, marketing, and operations teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives. Monitor and analyze pricing performance to identify opportunities for improvement. Monitor and control expenses to ensure profitability and cost efficiency. Implement strategies to optimize revenue and minimize costs. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Communicate financial results and insights to key stakeholders. Forecast future financial performance based on historical data and market trends. Provide support in finance-wide projects, including process automations and system enhancements. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for errors and issues encountered and propose solutions. Work with finance teams to understand end-to-end processes for improvement and system enhancements. Lead a remote finance team, guiding its day-to-day operations. Key Stakeholders Finance Team Operations Team Revenue Team Executive Leadership Team Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Extensive experience with pricing for subscriptions or SaaS products/services Understanding of client acquisition costs Knowledge of pricing tools and systems At least 10 years of experience managing pricing and profitability, preferably in SaaS Experience working in organizations offering SaaS products in user-centered domains Experience with SaaS financial model reporting and key metrics Experience working on client acquisition costs and profit margins Experience with financial shared service arrangements and multiple entities Experience in drafting and implementing processes and controls High affinity for technology and tools Skilled in finance and reporting software Ability to understand other functional areas (HRIS, Database Management, Reporting) Educational and Certification Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience Direct Reports and Span of Control This role will be a people manager with the number of team members yet to be determined.
