Job Level Description: Entry-level professional contributor on a project or work team. Has theoretical knowledge. Problems faced may be difficult or complex. Work is moderately supervised. Influences others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices. Purpose: This position is for an entry-level professional who schedules and expedites the movement of parts required to support NPI, Transitions, CSI, AFT, and OOPS projects managed by the NPI team and meet customer commitments. Responsibility Statements: Prepare Line of Balance (LOB) based on the Project Plan provided by the Project Engineer. Track order status and aging. Escalate risks/roadblocks for process completion. Participate in Operations Tier meetings per areas (as required) to communicate NPI priorities and needs. Provide visibility of NPI units in the different process areas. Provide visibility of NPI priorities per week. Provide visibility of units on Rework or NCM and follow up until the process is resumed. Coordinate with each functional area in the team for any support needed to stay on track with commitments. Engage Process Engineers to provide required documentation prior to Full FAI Inspection. Escalate any commitment fail risk. Provide visibility of unexpected material shortages. Ensure units are properly shipped as needed. Work closely with Planner/Project Engineer for special orders or shipment requirements. Education/Certifications: Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
