China Three Gorges Latam, a world-leading renewable energy company, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the latam team. The responsibility of this role is to organize, file, supervise, and audit the Company’s procurement processes and related documentation, in accordance with internal procedures and corporate requirements. The Procurement Specialist will support the effective implementation of best procurement practices and ensure proper document control and compliance throughout the purchasing cycle. Specific Duties Manage and Audit Processes: - Continuously develop and maintain standard procurement documentation for use, ensuring consistency with the company’s regulations. - Manage a tracking and monitoring system to help determine compliance with contractual obligations and to capture any changes in requirements. - Provide consultancy to other departments regarding procurement processes such as contracting methods, documentation, supplier evaluation among others. - Ensure all policies and regulations regarding Procurement activities are considered in the purchase of goods and services, actively promote these among stakeholders. - Manages and reviews documents for the procurement of all suppliers, equipment and services and ensures compliance with procurement policies and internal control manual. - Attend internal and external audits in regard with procurement processes. - Identifies suppliers that satisfy the company’s contracting and purchasing standards. - Delivers annual vendor evaluation to determine improvements in the agreements and services. - Coordinates in a timely manner with other departments to assure effective teamwork in procuring goods and services. - Ensures that process records are maintained, and all procurements are correctly documented through all cycle. - Maintains complete and correct record of contracts for goods and services. Others: - Provide continuous training to company personnel regarding the process. - Provide support and guidance to different offices / projects being developed in different locations within Latin America. - Document preparation including special reports and presentations. - Be flexible in your work definition according to needs and targets and improve team efficiencies and effectiveness - Contribute to effective resource development and management performance. - Be a proactive team member and strive for continuous improvement, innovation, high performance, and cost effectiveness.
