Front End Engineering Role The Front End Engineer is responsible for creating clean, efficient, standards-compliant code across a wide range of web sites and web applications. This role handles complex tasks and is expected to work independently with minimal support. Key Responsibilities: - Take on any size and complexity of front end projects. - Deliver the front end portion of projects on time and within budget. - Evaluate frameworks, technologies, and tools for relevance to projects or the department. - Collaborate with team members from various departments. - Utilize AI development tools to enhance coding efficiency and reduce boilerplate work. - Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their relevance to team productivity and project quality. - Manage multiple projects and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. - Write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript based on prototypes, designs, and functional documentation. - Collaborate with back end engineers to ensure seamless integration of components. - Experience developing large web sites and web applications. - Experience building headless architectures. Requirements: - Expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3. - Experience with SASS, SCSS. - Strong command of web standards, responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. - Knowledge of one or more JavaScript frameworks, React preferred. - Experience with source control systems (GIT). - Proficiency with AI-enhanced development environments and tools.
