Job Title: Release Engineer Expert We are looking for a highly skilled Release Engineer Expert to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software release management for enterprise SaaS and in-house applications. Key Responsibilities: - Schedule, coordinate, manage, and deploy software releases with precision and efficiency. - Identify and mitigate risks affecting release scope, quality, and schedules through proactive analysis and planning. - Lead deployments during designated off-peak hours to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations. - Continuously improve release processes to align with organizational growth and strategic objectives. - Develop and execute deployment, implementation, and run-book plans that meet or exceed expectations. - Maintain and communicate the release calendar with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination. - Assist Product Owners in managing interdependencies and timelines to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. - Collaborate with Product Management to align roadmaps with release schedules and prioritize initiatives accordingly. - Enhance automation tools and refine release management processes to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and improve overall productivity. - Ensure organizational release readiness by coordinating with technical and business teams to identify and address potential issues before they impact the organization. - Monitor and measure delivery progress to meet or exceed expectations and provide regular updates to stakeholders. - Facilitate release meetings, readiness reviews, go/no-go decisions, and retrospectives to ensure open communication and continuous improvement. - Maintain documentation on build and release procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across teams. - Oversee CMDB mappings, automation, and recertifications to maintain up-to-date information and minimize downtime. - Manage password updates for all applications, including in-house systems, to ensure secure access and compliance with organizational policies. - Configure and monitor AppDynamics for performance tracking and optimization to identify areas for improvement. Requirements: - 7+ years of experience in software release management for SaaS and in-house applications. - Strong knowledge of deployment, configuration, testing, and release management in agile environments. - Expertise in Risk Link - SME, DB, SQL Server. - AWS (DaaS - SaaS) Virtualization and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure). - Data analysis and infrastructure management. - Windows OS and server consolidation. - Insurance industry knowledge. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins preferred). - Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, or other collaboration tools.
