**Responsibilities**: - Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. - Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with accounting principles and regulations. - Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations to management for strategic decision-making. - Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records by implementing and maintaining effective internal controls and procedures. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, operations, and external auditors, to support financial audits, budgeting, and forecasting processes. - Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. - Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. - Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development. - Stay updated with industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and guidelines. - Participate in special projects and initiatives, as assigned, to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is highly preferred. - Proven experience working as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role, demonstrating a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting. - Advanced proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as ERP systems, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel. - Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant accounting standards. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights. - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information to non-financial stakeholders. - Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to supervise and mentor junior accounting professionals. - Solid understanding of tax regulations and experience in tax compliance. - High level of integrity and ethical conduct in handling sensitive financial information.
