Job Summary We are seeking an energetic IT Technician to join our team at our La Vega location in the Dominican Republic. The selected individual will be responsible for providing technical support, installing hardware/software, and troubleshooting problems. This role will also provide network and server infrastructure support as needed. Key Responsibilities - Provide end-user technical support, primarily in the United States, via phone, email, and remote desktop. - Troubleshoot network and computer-related issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution. - Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot workstation hardware, software, and peripherals. - Assist in installing, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, switches, routers, wireless access points, and firewalls. - Schedule and perform regular equipment upgrades, including firmware, operating systems, and application updates. - Interact with vendors to initiate and support services as necessary. - Maintain accurate inventory and documentation for hardware and software. - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies to support future company needs. - Provide training to staff on various technical subjects. Requirements - 2+ years of experience in computer/network support. - Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent. - CompTIA A+ or Net+ certification is a plus. - Patient, well-organized, energetic, positive attitude, and customer-oriented. - Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential for providing support to end-users in the United States. - Ability to work independently and ensure job completion. - Willingness to work one weekend day per week and occasional evening shifts for installations and/or troubleshooting. - Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Meticulous attention to detail. - Able to lift up to 50 pounds of technical equipment.
