We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team! Supports adherence to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Responsibilities Receive and return phone calls/messages promptly. Triage patients and review cases with physicians as necessary. Review medical records prior to visits, including test results. Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and medication lists. Perform catheter changes and care, administer bladder treatments and chemotherapy via catheter. Prepare and administer IM and SQ medications as ordered. Assist with specimen collection and venipuncture with physician’s order. Set up office procedures, maintaining sterile techniques as needed. Send prescription refills for physician approval. Complete medical forms and route billing information accurately. Document patient information accurately and timely. Educate patients on testing and medications. Notify physicians of abnormal or critical results. Restock and clean exam rooms after use. Maintain confidentiality of patient information. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program. Minimum of 3 years' practical nursing experience. Phlebotomy experience preferred. Current LPN license and registration. Current BCLS certification within 3 months of hire. Physical Demands Must be able to handle body motions including lifting, manual dexterity, standing, and walking for extended periods.
