Job summary The People Operations Specialist will provide a broad range of support related to the employee lifecycle, Workday and reporting. This role requires a high level of customer service, technical curiosity and a demonstrated ability to keep up in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment. Qualifications - 2 years of HR experience Responsibilities - Monitor the People Operations team ticketing inbox and respond to employee inquiries (benefits, compensation, etc) as they come in. - Manage our employment verification vendor, The Work Number, and complete verification of employment requests in a timely manner. - Provide information, guidance and direction on People policies, programs, and processes to employees and managers - Ensure employee electronic files are accurate and updated, and assist with audit requests - Maintain people team and employee facing documentation - Assist with the creation of, documentation, and implementation of People policies and processes - Workday system administration - Providing Level 1 support, troubleshooting systems issues, and performing ongoing configuration/maintenance. - Perform data audits on a regular basis to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness - Ensure business processes are completed within a timely manner and that correct approvals are received - Data entry as needed - Run existing recurring reports as well as help to develop simple ad hoc report requests Skills - Strong customer service and accountability to problem resolution and end user support - Ability to prioritize daily issues, tasks, and projects, and flexibility to change tasks and priorities when necessary - Demonstrated judgment and discretion in managing confidential data and processes - Strong attention to detail - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Direct Workday experience as a user and/or admin - Intermediate Excel skills and comfort working in spreadsheets - Ability to audit data and recognize data issues and inconsistencies - Strong process orientation.
