Job Title: Salesforce Quality Assurance Lead Engineer Slalom seeks a Salesforce Quality Engineer and Test Lead capable of delivering and leading testing activities on client projects and scaling our Salesforce quality engineering practice. You will lead teams of quality engineers performing manual and automated testing on the Salesforce platform and ecosystem. You will work directly with internal senior leaders to develop thought leadership, best practices, training programs, testing frameworks, and strategies. Responsibilities - Lead software quality and testing activities on Salesforce projects of medium to large size and complexity. - Manage full quality and testing teams through all project phases. - Develop overall quality and testing strategies for client projects. - Contribute to the development of quality engineering standards and methodologies at Slalom. - Assess solution risks and help prioritize test efforts. - Select and configure quality toolsets to manage testing. - Mentor and advise junior team members. - Perform testing responsibilities from application testing to test strategy rollout when needed. - Manage quality engineering resources, assist with recruiting, and mentor junior staff. Qualifications - Experience in software and testing lifecycle, from inception to deployment. - Experience in test strategy, planning, case design, and execution. - Experience in roles like test lead, performance test engineer, automation test designer, environment designer, or UAT lead. - Experience with UI test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar, AccelQ, CRT, Tricentis). - Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, Fiddler). - Passion for quality engineering and the Salesforce ecosystem. - Ability to partner with clients to understand needs and recommend solutions. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
