Job overview at a glance LRQA’s Sustainability Consulting team specializes in helping clients design and implement responsible sourcing programs, due diligence, and sustainability/ESG strategies in their supply chains. We are seeking professionals to help develop our growing sustainability advisory services in the Americas market. You will be part of the LRQA global Advisory team, reporting to LRQA Advisory LATAM, supported by our global network and utilizing our exclusive EiQ data. In this role, you will engage in the full project cycle under the guidance of senior team members. This includes project design, proposal drafting, implementation, creating deliverables, and presenting to clients. Your projects will primarily focus on private sector clients across sectors such as consumer goods, retail, food/agriculture, and electronics, covering topics including human rights, labor conditions, and risk assessments related to countries, commodities, and products. The role involves direct client engagement with senior stakeholders, including sustainability/ESG, sourcing, procurement teams, investment firms, and law firms. Responsibilities Project delivery: Support senior staff in consulting engagements, managing projects by engaging with clients, conducting research, and analyzing information to meet client needs. Ensure projects are on track and of high quality. Contribute to reports and presentations, and communicate and present deliverables to clients. Product and service development: Assist in standardizing and developing LRQA’s sustainability and supply chain products by innovating and improving existing processes to increase efficiency and impact. Business development: Support proposal development, networking, and profiling efforts to help secure new business opportunities with existing and potential clients. Requirements and qualifications 4-7 years of professional experience in sustainability, responsible sourcing strategy, or business and human rights consulting is advantageous. Advanced knowledge of the sustainability industry, regulatory trends, and standards. Strong research and writing skills. Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder engagement abilities. Proficiency in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus. Ability to interpret and analyze quantitative data. Detail-oriented, solutions-focused, with a questioning mindset and problem-solving skills. Emotional intelligence and strong team skills. Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments, both virtually and in person. Willingness to work across different time zones, including outside regular hours if necessary. Adaptability to deadlines and changing work environments. Strong analytical, synthetic, and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills, self-motivated, with effective time management and prioritization. Commitment to continuous learning.
