Seeking Remote IT Help Desk Technician (Level 1) for a U.S.-Based IT Services Company: We’re hiring a bilingual, tech-savvy, and proactive Remote IT Help Desk Technician to join a U.S.-based IT services company with over 25 years of experience supporting small to mid-sized dental, medical, and legal offices in South Florida. This is a fully remote role for professionals who want to grow with a well-established company offering consistent work and a people-first culture. Key Responsibilities Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Respond to incoming calls and chats from clients with technical issues. Ask diagnostic questions to narrow down problems and create detailed tickets in the system. Use remote access tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Splashtop, LogMeIn) to troubleshoot devices and applications. Assist with software issues, printers, scanners, USB and wireless peripherals, drivers, patches, and Windows business applications. Work with third-party support when necessary and escalate unresolved tickets to Level 2 technicians. Ticketing & Communication: Document all steps taken to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Clearly update tickets for seamless handoff to field techs if onsite support is required. Ensure thorough, professional communication with clients throughout. Systems Knowledge (Preferred but not required): Experience with dental and medical software such as Dentrix, Dexis, Softdent, and Eaglesoft. Familiarity with networking basics (e.g., DHCP, IP troubleshooting). Knowledge of x-ray sensors, webcams, desk scanners, and related peripherals. What You’ll Need to Succeed Fluent in Spanish and English (required) Prior experience as a computer technician or help desk support agent Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills Self-starter with strong communication and time management Reliable internet, phone access, and personal computer Experience with PowerShell scripting is a major plus Certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are an advantage but not required Tools You’ll Use TeamViewer, Splashtop, or LogMeIn Remote ticketing and support systems Microsoft Windows Medical/Dental industry software (Dentrix, Dexis, etc.) What We Offer Work-from-home stability with a U.S.-based client Training and ongoing support to get familiar with systems and tools A collaborative, mission-aligned team and room to grow The chance to make a real difference in small businesses' day-to-day success Compensation Monthly Salary: $1,050 - $1,200 USD/hour (based on experience) Performance Bonus: Available based on performance and reliability Schedule Full-time Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. EST In rare occasions, weekend maintenance tasks may be requested.
