Senior Collective Shelter (Albergue) Management Assistant, G5 - CO Bogota [Temporary Appointment] DUTIES - Support effective coordination mechanisms and tools, including information management and Collective Shelters (Albergue) / Site monitoring with stakeholders, including government counterparts, ensuring timely and effective provision of services. - Support site managers, partners, and local authorities in conducting regular Collective Shelters (Albergue) / Site level coordination meetings - ensuring that partners conduct Collective Shelters (Albergue) / Site level coordination meetings - in line with the Principles of Partnership, making sure that participation is inclusive, consultative and results-oriented. - Ensure the establishment of strong working relationships with all site Collective Shelters (Albergue) / Site level internal and external stakeholders at the corresponding level, including the displaced population and host communities, to facilitate effective collaboration and communication. - Ensure the continuous monitoring of Collective Shelters (Albergue) / Site level services ensuring that gaps are filled through coordination and service delivery. - Ensure the continuous update of Collective Shelters (Albergue) / Site level Emergency Response Plans as needed. - Contribute to regular and ad-hoc reports with concerned parties in a timely manner. - Support the setup and continuation of Collective Shelters (Albergue) / Site level participatory governance. - Work with the supervisor and UNHCR information management focal points to help develop and update products such as Collective Shelters (Albergue) / Site profiles, Collective Shelters (Albergue) / Site directories, volunteer units mapping, infrastructure mapping, etc. - Work with UNHCR Program Unit to follow up on PPAs and to provide inputs for reporting against indicators. - Support the establishment of Accountability to Affected Population (AAP) mechanisms in Collective Shelters (Albergue) / Sites in close coordination with the regional coordination mechanisms. - Provide harmonization of standards across UNHCR supported Collective shelters (Albergues) / Sites and alike with regards to management systems - Provide Collective shelters / Site management (CCCM) training sessions to staff, partners and authorities - In coordination with relevant technical colleagues, assist in conducting surveys, data collection/mapping assessments. - Perform other work-related duties as required MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education & Professional Work Experience Years of Experience / Degree Level - Minimum 2 years relevant experience with High School Diploma; or 1 year relevant work experience with Bachelor or equivalent or higher. Relevant Job Experience Essential Prior experience of coordination and technical implementation of collective shelters (albergues) / site projects in humanitarian context and emergencies, in liaison with operational partner¿s and governmental technical departments. Knowledgeable of sensitivity to cultural and gender specific needs to ensure that the social and cultural background of the persons of concern is taken into account while implementation of Cllective shelters / Site interventions.
