Role Overview Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated software quality assurance engineer to join our team. About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our complex systems. This includes designing, developing and maintaining automated and manual tests covering various customer use cases, prioritizing high-value scenarios. This role requires collaboration with developers to shift testing left, construct automation tests based on what's most valuable and high priority, and help the team adopt best practices to improve code quality. In addition, the software quality assurance engineer will develop concise, articulate and detailed documentation to support the development process. Responsibilities: - Test Development: Design, develop and maintain automated and manual tests covering various customer use cases. - Testing Strategy: Collaborate with developers to shift testing left, construct automation tests based on what's most valuable and high priority. - Documentation: Develop concise, articulate and detailed documentation to support the development process. Requirements: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or 5 years software engineering experience). - Experience: 3+ years of software testing experience, expertise in test automation on UI, API or others, and experience in enhancing existing Test Automation frameworks – Cypress, Playwright, Selenium etc. Bonus Skills: - E2E Automation: Experience in end-to-end automation is a plus. - Contract Testing: Knowledge of contract testing principles. - CI/CD Pipelines: Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines.
