Job summary As a Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our financial operations. Your insights and technical expertise will be critical in driving strategic decision-making through financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. Responsibilities - Assist with financial data entry, reconciliations, and report preparation to ensure accurate and timely reporting. - Support accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring smooth and timely transactions. - Maintain and organize accurate financial records and documentation. - Assist with tax filings, compliance, and audits as required. - Collaborate with the Finance Director to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency. - Handle general administrative tasks related to financial operations. - Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned by management. Requirements - Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Experience: At least 3 years of experience in financial accounting or analysis, preferably in e-commerce or retail industries. Experience with platforms such as Shopify or Amazon is a plus. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets. - Analytical Thinker: You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to interpret complex financial data and communicate your findings clearly. - Detail-Oriented: You have strong attention to detail and can prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Team Player & Independent Worker: You can work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive success.
