We support our partners to integrate Results-Based Financing (RBF) in delivery systems and practices, design data-driven performance management systems and strengthen long-term service delivery capabilities of government partners. Some of our important milestones include the world's first Development Impact Bond (education, India); the launch of performance-based contracts with governments in Africa (employability, Morocco), the structuring of a $60 million results-based transfer system for local school districts (education, Peru), and facilitating MCC's effective use of RBF through a four-year strategic partnership. Instiglio has also advised pioneer RBF transactions, such as the first Outcomes Fund (poverty graduation, Kenya and Uganda) and an RBF that has transformed the delivery performance of Freetown's water utility (utility management, Sierra Leone). **Our team**: We are a team of 60+ people, representing 15+ nationalities, with offices in Colombia, Kenya, Morocco and the USA. Our team of practitioners has extensive development and government experience, including previous roles in impact evaluation (e.g., J-PAL), development banks (e.g., World Bank), country governments (e.g., Rwanda Ministry of Finance, Colombia's National Planning Department, Congress of Colombia), and research (e.g., Harvard's Center for International Development). **How you will make an impact**: As the Finance and Administrative Associate in Bogotá, you will play an instrumental role in the Instiglio Bogotá office to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will also work with Instiglio's Global operations, people and finance teams, each based in Kenya and Morocco. Your role is unique in that it involves working across teams, supporting Finance, Office administration, and Compliance. Your role will often require building and managing processes and structures, sometimes from scratch. The key responsibilities of the Operations and Finance Associate will include, but are not limited to: - **Finance** - Globally manage and execute accounting (payroll, accountant management, expense tracking, taxes and statutory deductions) - Reporting and planning for all the offices. - Execution of annual audits for Bogotá and Nairobi office, and compliance with global audits for Instiglio. - Execution of financial transactions (invoices, reimbursement) - Support the Global Finance team as required - Quarterly consolidation of Financial Statements - **Office Administration**: - Organizing payments of events/travel (planning, liaising, negotiating, logistics, purchasing, flight research) - Support research and manage logistics for offices as required with the support of local administrative assistants. - **Compliance**: - Support Operations team in maintaining compliance with country specific regulations, local audits and global audit. **Who you are**: - **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Accounting - **Experience**: 4 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, HR, operations or related fields - **Technical knowledge/experience**: Hands-on experience in budgeting and financial monitoring; financial management.
