What you’ll learn & achieve: - Planning and coordinating all electrical activities on the construction site, including the installation of electrical systems, equipment, and components.- Ensuring compliance with all applicable safety standards and regulations related to electrical work, including OSHA regulations and local building codes.- Managing the work of electrical subcontractors and coordinating with other contractors and trades on the site to ensure that electrical work is completed on time and to the required quality standards.- Reviewing and interpreting project specifications, drawings, and plans related to electrical work and ensuring that work is performed in accordance with these documents.- Providing technical guidance and support to the project team on electrical issues, including troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed.- Conducting regular inspections of electrical work to ensure that it meets quality standards and that work is progressing according to schedule.- Developing and maintaining project schedules for electrical work and tracking progress against these schedules.- Coordinating with the project manager and other stakeholders to identify and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.- Ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained for electrical work and that all documentation is maintained in accordance with project requirements.- Managing project budgets for electrical work and ensuring that work is completed within budgetary constraints. What makes you a great fit: - A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field.- At least 5-10 years of relevant work experience in electrical construction management, including experience managing complex wind and solar projects.- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations related to wind and solar projects.- Experience in managing large teams of electrical subcontractors, including planning, organizing, and delegating tasks.- Strong project management skills, including the ability to create and manage schedules, budgets, and timelines.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics related to electrical systems.- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.- Familiarity with industry software and tools used in electrical construction management, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and project management software.
